I commented with this: “Instead of going on the attack here, which is mighty tempting, I’ll take a different approach.
Why do this over going to a sanctioned event/track? We’re centrally located in one of the absolute best spots in the country for grassroots motorsports, like drifting. There are lots of events all the time around here, and entry cost for drift events is pretty damn cheap. Not to mention the added levels of organized safety, immensely diminished risk of hurting any bystanders, lack of negative impact on the automotive community’s image, and access to great quality instruction.”
