We put our builders deposit sometime in March. They started working on permits and such, and they didn’t even break ground until late May.

Here is what it looked like on 5/24

Here it is after they backfilled the dirt on 6/1

Then, the builders went crazy - here it is half framed on 6/14

6/30, fully framed, roof up, they started with the siding

7/6, all the siding was up, and they started on roof shingles

My father in law drove by yesterday, and they have the roof done as well. After the foundation cured, they pretty much built the whole frame and the outside of the house in 40 days. Rest of the time is completing the interior - drywall, flooring, paint, cabinets etc. We are hoping to have a close date by the end of August.

They we move from our 2 car garage to a 3+1, where hopefully I’ll have enough space for a little shop in that extra bay on the far right, and maybe one of these

On that note, has anyone ever used New Age ($1066 on sale, red one above) or Husky ($821 on sale, black one below) garage cabinets?

I like the rolling cabinet and red color of the New Age, but every penny counts right now, and saving $200 would be nice.
