Hot on the heels of my initial Trackmania post, here are my recommended skins to use for the game. Note that the skins shown are for Trackmania Nations/United only, not the sequel, Trackmania 2. I haven’t played that game yet.

No rankings here, sorry about that, although I’ll indicate my favorites. All skins have built-in engine notes (the others that don’t will be listed separately two posts or so after). Links are on the names.

I’ll get the Ferraris out of the way now.

Ferrari F12. Still can’t get enough of the thing.

LaFerrari. Sounds perfect in-game.

And since we’re talking hypercar already, meet the Weissach Pack-loaded Porsche 918 and McLaren P1.

Now on to the rest, starting off with GT-class racers.

Right off the bat, $kaybait, with a Ford GT1 in plain Gulf livery.

Next is Punk_Girl bait, with this specific Dodge SRT Viper GTS-R.

Stefbait rolling in, and with two flavors: scribbly Le Mans livery and Team Falken.

On to the BMW Z4 GT3. Recommended skins are the NFS-liveried Schubert rig, this Hot Wheels-inspired one, and Castrol.

There’s also the McLaren 12C GT3. Sebastien Loeb’s car is present, as well as this rather dandy H&R-sponsored car.

The Audi R8 GT3 skin group is so damn loaded, but not a lot of them are worth it. The ones seen above (Bilstein, no.9, S-line, Porta!, EasyRent, Road & Track, Ecko Unltd.), however, are killer, so do snag them.

Well, that’s quite the overload. Part 2, which I’ll do tomorrow, will include sports cars and supercars.
