My day so far

Jag has been not wanting to rev above 4000 rpm. Felt like a rev limiter. Today before heading to lunch I grabbed my screwdriver to see if there was a rev limiter module installed inside the distributor. Pop the cap off, nothing. Pop it back on, check my connections, go to start car... no spark. Test for spark, nothing. Take the cap back off aaaaaand my secondary coil is an open circuit. Neat. Somehow lifting the cap 3 inches and setting it back on the dizzy broke the coil. Fabulous.
