My Diagnosis Don't Want None Unless You Got Codes, Hon

Oh. My. God. Becky.

Mustang’s been sitting for a month now. It runs, but that stalling issue just makes it too frustrating to drive. Good thing it spit out some codes for me to pursue.

But as thorough as my Service Manual (SM) and Electrical and Vacuum Troubleshooting Manual (EVTM) are, I was still missing a third volume: this “Powertrain Control/Emissions Diagnosis” (PC/ED) book. Well, I finally found one, and it is an absolute unit. I’m in awe.

Not sure how many pages it is (the chapters aren’t numbered together), but the whole thing stands about 5-1/2" thick when closed. It’s the equivalent of about 6 Chiltons!

I was hoping that there was a digital version available. The SM and EVTM on my tablet have come in very handy, and I’m really digging the searchable text on those documents.

Going through this PC/ED book, however, is going to take some time. I sure hope all the pages are there. It looks pretty intact, though. No grease stains, and hardly any dog-ears to speak of. I can’t wait to see where this thing leads me!
