A 1996 Saturn SL2 in green, with the little spoiler. Arguably the nicest-looking model Saturn ever spat out, my car previously survived a terrible flood and, when I got a rod knock on the highway at one point after high school, limped me twenty miles home on three cylinders. I had a head unit installed and Alpine speakers, because stereo meant more to me than anything.
It was a good car. I eventually sold it for $1200 and bought a ‘97 740iL.
