Yesterday, I promised a photodump of my travels in Japan. And here it is! Nearly 70 of my best shots from Kyoto and Osaka. There's some lovely locations and good Jalop stuff for you Opponauts. Enjoy!
I thought this was really clever - using nature to support nature.
Hydrophobic properties yo.
First time I've ever seen a 'Vette!
The great thing about this place is that it might be historic and very old, but the public are allowed to walk and cycle through it any time they want! Japan is certainly one of the best conserved places of heritage.
I thought I heard a V8 rumbling. Turns out it was this wonderfully preserved Chevy G20.
I'm at a desktop wallpaper!
So this is a full-size SUV in the US?
LOOK. LOOK. HAKOSUKA GT-R.
They like their Minis here.
Kiyomizu-dera, one hell of a temple with one hell of a view.
One of many preserved JNR Class D51 locomotives in Japan.
Some V12 JDM goodness.
It was ages since I saw an MG F. Reminds me of the one we had back in Ireland.
Lunch on the river.
Great parking lot with a lift.
One of the smallest parking lots I've ever seen.
The Kuromon Market in Osaka. I went there for breakfast twice - fresh sushi is heavenly.
Advertising truck blasting music. Pretty cool tbh.
DEER. DEER. THE DEER AT NARA PARK.
Largest wooden structure in the world apparently. It was magnificent.
Spy the poor Fairlady Z that had an accident.
Think this is good?
THIS WAS EVEN BETTER.
I heard a putt putt sound.
Sadly, I didn't get to go the Osaka Castle since it was pouring with rain.
Ok, it's late now Oppo. Goodnight!
