Final for my Materials and Processes I class at Appalachian State University as part of my Industrial Design Major. Netik is a coffee table designed with everyday use in mind. The edge of the trays are raised to prevent liquids from spilling off to the floor or other trays with books or computers on them. The trays are also magNETIKly attached so as to be easily rearranged to better suit your needs or to be removed for eating/ loading.

Construction is out of solid maple with neodymium magnets holding the surface to the frame. Some further explanation of the concept:
