Three years and 32,000 miles since new, and the CX-5s OE tires are worn. Not like bald or anything. But, needing new ones is on the horizon. Lovely.

A quick Google search told me this is a common issue. OE tires are usually “meh” at best. One family had a Hyundai Tuscon need new tires at 22,000 miles and Hyundai acted like that was totally normal.

Sigh. We have the money, of course (thank God for savings), but it was an expense we weren’t planning on right now. Probably won’t put those Yokohama models back on since they didn’t exactly win the longevity award.

Any suggestions? For reference, it’s a 2013 Mazda CX-5 Sport. Front wheel drive automatic.
