Looks like Team Lazy Dazy will have peaked at fourth place in the #oppohunt on Monday. There are a couple more items I expect to get, but I can’t do the final push this weekend that I planned, nor get a Lego item to assemble today . . . because on Sunday morning we picked up a new foster dog and work got intense on Monday.
Cassiopeia (Cassie) is some sort of Shepherd mutt, about 40 pounds, 2-3 years old, and coming from some sort of abusive home making her EXTREMELY skittish and unsettled. We have had her 3 days, and most dogs will settle down a bit at this point, but she is still very nervous about life. She is a cutie and not aggressive, so we have hope of helping her have a healthy attitude and find a forever home that will treat her right. Her eyes should help make the sale, including the weird half brown, half blue one on the left.
We managed to go 2.5 months since we found the perfect family for our first foster, Stanley. I insisted on a camping trip before we fostered again, and that happened two weekends ago. Cassie popped up in desperate need, and here we are. Good thing that we moved up our last Oppo Hunt roadtrip to Saturday from Sunday. Our forever dog, Enzo, finds Cassie better as a house guest than Stanley, but still would prefer flying solo.
