Was just reading the post by Dogisbadob on the Corvette C5/6 amber tail lights.

So, as you do (when your bored) I went to some car sites to see how much Corvettes were going for in the U.K.

Then I saw it, I stumbled upon a U.K. American car dealer who seems to import anything American from:-

1987 Chrysler New Yorker.

to

2017 Ford Explorer.

Including, wait for it...............

So not only has someone in an RHD market bought a LHD car, they’ve bought a U.S. spec one with those awful amber inserts in the headlights and had to add the rear foglight onto the rear bumper to make it legal in the U.K. and E.U.. If you want an LHD for some reason, just buy an E.U. LHD car.

The four door is even worse (more worse) because we get the three door and the five door and that person bought a four door.

Some people say Brits are a little different and some are way more than different.

And why are both car wearing U.S. licence plate holders with U.K. square licence plates that don’t fit properly? Swap the licence plate holders for U.K. ones and it won’t look so mismatched.

Mind you, the dealer has had some nice motors in.
