Update: mechanic says it’s the oil filter cooler gasket. It decided it didn’t want to be a gasket anymore. The part’s in stock and should have it back in half a day. Right around $600, so not the worst news.

What could cause a copious oil leak in a 2013 Pentastar V6 in the area between the cylinder heads? The engine is running perfectly (albeit with 228k miles) but when running it’s leaking a pretty substantial amount. It’s never had any engine problems, and it doesn’t have the cylinder head flaw that some of those engines have had.
