This is Falcon Field in Mesa, Arizona, the town (er, city) I grew up in.

During WWII Falcon Field served as a training base for British airmen. The mountain you see in the background is Red Mountain, and my parents’ house (the one I spent most of my life in) is located several miles from the base of the mountain).
