I can’t say enough about this book. It was fantastic. Incredibly well written, spectacularly researched. The story is engaging and well told, the cars and races described historic. The details described in some of the races are mind-blowing. Turn-by-turn descriptions of races from 1938. Truly an incredible story.
The only downside was I got it on Kindle, so some pictures could have been better, and the book length was deceiving. The epilogue started 50% of the way through the book. So I thought I had a lot more fantastic reading to do, and it ended. Over 40% of the book length is references. It's incredible, but deceiving on Kindle.
