Background- I work for an auto dealer group and get to drive a used car of my choosing for my daily usage. I travel between all our different locations so good gas mileage is a must. Today I need to park the Focus hatch I've been driving and choose something else. Sometimes I get to drive something fun, but sadly this is not one of those times- we're seriously low right now on stuff that's both fun and fuel efficient.

So looking at gas mileage alone, the two contenders are...

A 2012 Nissan Sentra "Special Edition" 2.0 automatic:


Or a 2011 Hyundai Sonata GLS 2.4 automatic:

The Sentra has a sunroof which is of no use to me (it's 14 F here) but other than that they're both fairly standard in terms of options.
