I’ve been a long time lurker and occasional commenter for a while now and figure it’s about time I try this whole posting stuff. A brief about me:
- I’m an engineer at an automotive supplier that deals with mostly vehicular and engine cooling.
- My primary car is 2001.5 Passat 1.8T 5-speed with 199,000 miles on it. It’s been amazingly reliable considering the reputation these have and for being high mileage.
- My fun car is an Imola Red 2002 M3 6-speed that I got about 2 years ago with 109,000 miles that I’ve since put another 15,000 on. I like this car a lot.
- My wife’s car is a 2011 Golf Tdi with DSG flappy paddles. We bought it summer of 14 because I said the diesels hold their value like crazy. Joke’s on me.
Anyway, I don’t live an interesting enough life and don’t have many strong opinions (oppo-inions?) to post frequently but I got a dashcam for Christmas so maybe that’ll help me with material. Here (or wherever Kinja puts it) is a picture of the M3
