While this may not seem as news in the US, I found this fact during my trip from the Taipei International Airport (Tao Yuan) to the hotel I am at in Taichung. It was late, so traffic was light. There were only a few vehicles traveling above the posted speed limit, and even get weaving back and forth between lanes. Yup, thanks BMW!

Other interesting news, the hour rule is very easy to patrol here, since it is the middle of the afternoon. The cars are an interesting mix of JDM market Japanese and European. The market price is about the same as in the States, if not more, but the buying power of the population is a lot lower. What does that mean, billions of scooters. Pictures of "parked down the street" and more to come soon, hopefully.
