The clothes dryer became a lot less effective this week after the heating element went out, and when combined with being a probably 15 year old Kenmore thing that came with house and having a few other issues and noises that had been subtly suggesting for a few months that it might be closer to the end of it’s life, we elected to forego any episodes of this old dryer and proceed straight to Lowe’s for a replacement. That meant the Pajero made its debut for carrying large objects last night.
Appliance shopping might be second only to furniture shopping for making you feel like a grown up. Those are things my parents did. It doesn’t feel like I’m supposed to do them, but too many dollars later (thanks, tariffs!) the ITA97 house is back to doing the laundry things.
The local recycling center is a block away from my work building, so I stopped by the appliance drop off section on the way to work this morning. No eulogy was given, but it was shoved out the back of the Pajero in a satisfying manner.
