Timing belt (158k and original, but in GREAT shape) replaced and running perfect....

But now the damn alternator took a crap. Its BARELY charging the battery.

The first time I drove the car was after jump starting it, and I ran it with the bad battery in it, and the alternator ran everything just fine. A month later when I drove it home, I had put a new battery in it, and had no problems the whole way.

Before I took the doors off I moved it into my driveway and the battery (and brake) lights came on, but went off and stayed off with a little RPM.

Took it for a drive after putting the timing belt in, and the wheels/tires on and it only went off at VERY high RPM, then came back on.

Put my multi-meter to it and the battery is only getting 12.1V at idle. Shit. Guess I’m putting an alternator in it too....
