Remember that guy a while back who "imported the first legal GTR" but did it well before the manufacture date? He's lucky, this is what can potentially happen.
The import law is rather outrageous. This fine and jail time for this person exists to "protect" car dealerships, just another sign of government bribery/corruption. However so long as it exists please follow it by the letter so you don't end up like this guy.

I just want to add that I think we need to spread the word on this. This law needs to end like with marijuana legalization. This isn't even a drug, it's a car. It's a victimless crime.
