The former [redacted] presidential candidate has helped raise more than $20 million so that felons who completed their prison sentences can vote in the presidential election [by paying off their fines, restitution, and/or court fees]. [Redacted] also has pledged $100 million to help [redacted] win Florida.

Both of these two sentences, on their own, are perfectly fine, but as soon as you put them together, and the same person is doing both, how is this not just buying votes, political affiliation aside?
