I have spent many hours on Porsche’s website configuring their cars. From a Macan GTS with Guard Red Seat Belts to a 911 GT3, with chalk seat belts, model delete, in silver, with a roll-cage delete, and everything in between, I love it. Usually I end up with an internal debate about whether the Cayman GTS is a better value than a 911 Carrera T (it is).

But, I’ve never seen this Houndstooth cloth insert option and I want to know how to get it. It’s my favorite. Yes—it has a manual.

I saw it at Isringhausen Imports in Springfield, Illinois. The build sheet doesn’t offer many clues either.

All that I know is that I want it badly.

A 911 GT3 with the touring package is the perfect GT car. Nondescript, classically styled, and fast enough to melt your face.

I want to put a roof rack with a topper on it and go winter camping in it.

Also, Isringhausen is a Porsche palace.
