PSA has had it rough as of late, but they want to reach profitability, and part of that is acknowledging the US is a pretty large market. Apparently, they want to start selling here by the turn of the next decade, with the new DS sub-brand as the spearhead for potentially Peugeot's and Citroen's return.
So yay and not at the same time. I want a 208 and a Grand Picasso, not some more premium DS vehicles. Also, with the increase in models available in Europe making it to the US, I have to wonder if automakers all around are pressuring political bodies to harmonize regulations as part of the US-EU free trade talks so they can save money building a common model instead of the US-specific ones they're forced to make now.
