Tomorrow morning, my 8th grade boys will be taking part in a middle school graduation parade. Basically, it’s one lap around the school while the teachers cheer and hold signs or something. Yay, coronavirus. Anyway, I thought it would be neat to do that slow drive with the side sliding doors of our Odyssey open, but there’s an alarm buzzer that goes off when you put the car in drive with the doors open. What are the chances that there is a single fuse I can pull out to stop that noise for the parade, without also disabling some critical system?
Update: Tekamul had the easy solution. Open the doors, turn off the dashboard switch that keeps the kids from opening the doors themselves. No buzzer. Super simple.
