This was the extent of fall colors that I saw on the way to Mammoth this past weekend. We dont get much of seasons here in California, especially Southern areas near the coast. This was on Lockwood Valley Road in between the 33 and 138 on my detour to get to the 14. The whole line of trees there were awash in bright yellow which was neat. Saw some trees like that around Mammoth as well but too far in the distance to go be a leaf peeping tourist. There were also quite a few nice trees with color in Bishop but my dash cam was apparently off on the way home and I didnt want to stop and take pictures of people’s lawns like a creeper.
Coming soon is a bird strike video from about 30 minutes down the road from here!
