Quarantine Project

Rear subframe on Estoril. Every single bushing at the rear subframe and suspension, plus some reinforcement and other goodies. Being able to have the car up on jacks for a few weeks is definitely the only way I’d be able to tackle this project. But man, pressing out bushings is a real pita. Once we got it all apart, the bushings didn’t look bad at all, but hey, I already bought all the replacements and the damn thing was out already...

The subframe mounting points are a bit of a concern with the E36 and E46 chassis, and I was definitely holding my breath to see what I’d find there. Luckily, the real MVP previous owner already reinforced the subframe mounting points! Those are the welded-on plates around the mounts.
