Unrelated...

So I turned my laptop on today and the display didn’t come on. It’s happened to me before, so I disconnect the batter and hold the power button down for a minute or so, which normally solves it. That didn’t; so I plug the laptop up to my TV to see if it’ll display there. It displayed both on the TV and on the laptop itself! And I hadn’t done anything to it between trying it after cycling the battery and plugging it up to the TV.

It it just some weird glitch, or is there something I can do about it to prevent this from happening in the future?

Also this is part of my reasoning for probably building a PC in the future. Because this laptop is over 5 years old and does stuff like this occasionally. Since I never really use it as a laptop, (The battery is too shot for it to run without being plugged in) I figured I could build a PC and to replace it as well as my Xbox.
