If your Ford had a Matthew McConaughey, it would be a Lincoln

Quick question:

Is vacuum tube an effective long term replacement for wiper fluid hoses? Like will fluid make it degrade or anything? Asking for a friend. I’m my own friend.

Basically the hoses got so brittle with age that they cracked and started soaking my under-hood insulation. Eww. I gotta redo the the tubing all the way back down to the fluid pump because all the hoses are SO brittle that any attempt to cut it and insert a connector will just result in more cracking.

New hose sets are are only $10-20 online but I can go down to the parts store and get a roll of vacuum hose, like, yesterday. I can still reuse all the original connectors.

Aso it turns out my car has heated wiper nozzles which is a nice touch.
