How do you sand the insides of springs? Sandpaper rolls from the plumbing department. Bam!
Angle grinder for the outside, and some degreasing and you have a set of springs ready for paint.
Oh yeah, like new and good for another 63 years.
Oil pan? Yeah, that’s blue now too.
Aw... yeah... A-arms got new parts bolted on.
The fourth A-arm is still waiting for its final black paint because I forgot to get gloves and don’t want my hands to match my suspension. Lower ball joints will require renting the installer tool again, then I can start putting the suspension on. My
pipe dream hope for this weekend is to have the suspension, spindles and steering all bolted up.
