I had an opportunity to walk around my old neighborhood with a friend yesterday. Part of that was walking around the two shopping malls near by, looking at the changes. The above store was formerly a Bon-Ton, previously an outpost for Hess’s Department Store, and before that a Grant City. This property is now becoming an Urban Air Adventure Park. This shopping complex has been through many changes over the years - it started life in the early 1970s as an actual mall before being de-malled in the early 2000s. I still remember and miss the days when it was actually still a mall.
At the next mall over, the old Blockbuster has been replaced with a Mavis Discount Tire.
Bonus: The fitness club is under new ownership...
