Ever since I first started driving, I always hated aftermarket stereos.

They’re visually obnoxious, they clash with the stock interior, and they’re usually installed by unqualified 16-year-olds in their step-mom’s driveway.

When my 740 Turbo’s original radio went on the blink, I knew I had to get it up and running again. It came factory with an 8-band equalizer, for Christ’s sake.

This is not a fix I’m proud of, per se, but it is a fix nonetheless.

Happy wrenching, fam.
