We all know how awesome the old 40 series Land Cruisers were. They're real legendary off roaders that are still popular on trails today. Over the years, like so many cars we love, got fatter and cushier. What I just don't understand though is who buys these things? The Sequoia is a bigger SUV but the land cruiser costs over $78,000! That's 30 grand more than Toyota's bigger SUV. What's the reasoning for this thing? Maybe it's a little better off road but if that was important than why wouldn't you get the much cheaper 4Runner or FJ Cruiser? Lexus makes a more expensive version of it with their LX but at least that competes with Range Rovers I suppose. I just don't get the logic of somebody buying an 80 grand Toyota SUV. Somebody help me out here?
