The things I want to write... If you strike all the automotive terminology, it would sound like dialogue from an adult film. This 1st gen has me all hot and bothered. Fork over the cash, slide up in’er, and give this one a good ride? This one might be your future ex-wife.

A green truck I actually like to look at; green is a difficult color to make look great in any situation, and age of owner.

I have a soft spot for anything Cummins - it’s a disease (I’m currently on my second one). I enjoy my trucks with tractor engines best.

This 1991 Dodge Ram W250 is the real deal for me. It’s got the agricultural derived engine, legendary VE-Pump, and it’s an honest-to-god single cab.

I have a thing for girls that smoke, as long as we’re talking about trucks...

The owner has completed the costly body work, respraying in ‘forest green’. It doesn’t say that it’s the original color but does that matter? We’re not at numbers matching builds in the diesel world... yet.

The green is fantastic and I hate green. Seriously, I’ve never been a fan of green on anything except something British [Racing Green] but, even then without black wheels it doesn’t always attract me.

Method makes better looking wheels than this but it isn’t too busy for my taste.

This truck does it right with the green. It kept its fender badges, painted letter tailgate, and even the wheels and stance aren’t going to call in many haters. It’s the right amount of ‘Meh’ mixed together so well - it works!

You’d be thinking about now that the failings will be inside the interior. You’d be wrong! There is a lack of obvious cracked dash, and worn out seat cushions here. Sure, it’s tan but sometimes tan is the best black interior. Yes you read that right. The perpetual underdog tan can beat black.

The lack of bench seats today owes more to population control than road safety. Who wouldn’t want to be conceived on these sultry seats?!

I’m not necessarily happy that a few things draw away from an otherwise pretty tan interior. Namely the steering wheel cover, the terrible floor mats, but OHHHHH YES MANUAL TRANS! Again, the owner was nice enough to freshen the NV4500 and clutch for the next owner. A near holy grail truck (minus one gear and two more doors).

If you said I’d be pineing after a green and tan Cummins.. I’d say, “Did you find my old truck because it’s impossible otherwise.”

Even the doors have had what looks like a treatment through the paint booth. Anyone who takes the time to refinish door cards has spend enumerable hours elsewhere on the project. Doors aren’t fun to spice up...

Now for the cherry on top - the engine. Is it stock? Has Bubba turned the pump up and cut off the muffler? Or has someone actually spent the time to do it right?!

Looks good too? A touch of shiny things but not too much.

THEY DID IT RIGHT!!!

It’s got injectors, turbo, upgraded pump, and and and and and... a cam?! Studs?! Intercooled and manifoldedededed?!!!

I need a cold shower... it even has less than 150k on the odometer!

The cold shower is going to be good for me either way... considering it costs exactly:

$25,000

Is the truck as green as the asking price? Or should we assume it was painted a shade too close to Benjamin Green?
