If your Ford had a Matthew McConaughey, it would be a Lincoln

Role Reversal

For us enthusiasts, this may be the star of the LA auto Show:

This is the Lamborghini Huracan LP580-2. The 2 at the end designates that yes, this is 2 wheel(rear) drive and not the standard 4 wheel drive we all know and expect.

There are some other cars that surely would peak your pecker at this show like the new MB SL or the Porsche Cayman GT4 ClubSport, The Alfa Gulia or even the Bentely Bentayga. Really though, is there anything that sets your hair on fire?

Maybe I’m expecting too much too soon or even all the time, but the car business just seems to be in a funk with the same old same old.

On the absolute opposite end is the EICMA show in Milan Italy: the worlds biggest and best motorcycle show.

There isn’t just one single bike that the show can be hung on, there’s many. Take a look at some of my favorites.

I could easily put in another 10-12 photos of achingly beautiful and awesome bikes from all kinds of manufacturers. Typically the European brands take this show by storm and the Japanese follow closely with smaller and bespoke brands bringing up the rear.

This year everyone has something awesome, even the Americans through Victory have brought the goods. I suggest all of you take a look at http://lanesplitter.jalopnik.com/ and http://www.asphaltandrubber.com/ for some good EICMA coverage.

Hopefully it will inspire some of you in the car design busienss to do something new and creative.
