WEATHER FOR THE RACE WILL BE DAY CONDITIONS.
If you’re not racing with us, many of us stream the races on twitch, the links for which will be posted on race day. A list of streamers from the previous round can be found here.
Also, instead of using parties or gamechat, we are going to be using the Oppositelock Racing/Digital Burnouts Discord to communicate during the races. If for some reason we are not using the app or it fails, we will be using gamechat to communicate, and hoping for the best. HERE IS THE INFO AND SERVER ACCESS LINK FOR THE DISCORD SERVER.

BUILD RULES HAVE BEEN FINALIZED! CLICK HERE FOR THE CURRENT BUILDS. Any car that has had it’s build changed is highlighted in yellow on the build sheet, and NEARLY EVERY CAR HAS HAD ITS BUILD CHANGED, so read through the sheet carefully. Also, the required number of pit stops has been finalized. There will be 2 required pit stops for Sports-Proto and GT cars.
Continuing what we did at Le Mans due to this track’s length, dirty laps will be equivalent to clean laps in qualifying. I WANT TO BE CLEAR, THIS DOES NOT MEAN YOU GET TO IGNORE TRACK LIMITS. We didn’t have any problems at Le Mans, so I don’t think we will have any issues. Also, due to NASCAR running directly after this race and the excessive length of the Ring, qualifying will only be one lap. Therefore, I am allowing and encouraging you to reverse at the start to make the most of the lap.
Also, caution rules will be a bit different this time around. Since there is no damage, the field will go green as soon as it is reformed. Therefore, depending on track position, we may not go past the pits under caution. It is also possible the pace car may not lead the field under yellow depending on where it is on track.
Also make sure to follow the weather in Germany. Right now, it looks like there is a 5% chance of rain on race day, though that could quickly change. It is the Nurburgring after all. The final call on weather will be made one hour before the race.
