Thought it would be just a few old concepts from obscure marques that nobody's ever heard of. Boy, was I wrong. There was some pretty high profile stuff like this Corvette CERV III and the 1956 Firebird II. Check it all out after the jump!
The banner outside the exhibition hall:
1954 Hudson Italia:
1954 Plymouth Explorer:
This thing was gorgeous.
These are my new favorite exhausts I've ever seen.
1986 Corvette Indy:
1973 Chevrolet XP898:
Looks like the front end of the C4 'Vette was based off of this.
1974 Corvette Reynolds:
1963 Corvair Monza SS:
Here's the plaque for the CERV-III at the beginning:
1954 Buick Wildcat II:
It's pretty much a Buick version of the Corvette.
1953 Lincoln X100:
A solar car and a flying car:
1956 Firebird II:
Thing had a freaking yoke.
1956 Buick Centurion:
My new favorite painting, Full Throttle - Bradley Schmehl
This exhibit was at the Heritage Museums & Gardens in Sandwich, Ma. It's ongoing through the end of October, so any Jalops in eastern Mass or Rhode Island should consider making the trip out to see it. It was well worth the admission price!
