GM just got done with it's annual gathering of Cadillac dealers in Las Vegas. What 2014 vehicles did they showcase for dealers? The 2014 Escalade and ATS Coupe.
Just to throw this in, the next gen Escalade will be on the new K2XX and will be a nice departure from its platform brothers, Yukon and Tahoe, but more specifically will move up-up-and-away from the Denali Yuk. Even more extensive use of high-end materials and the new EcoTec3 6.2L.
Now, the ATS Coupe. Engines, 2.0T @ 270hp and 3.6 @ 321hp, will be on offer. The ATS sedan's 2.5 has been left on the shelf. Based on the photos and the rumors it is clear that the ATS Coupe will be more ATS sedan than the CTS Coupe was CTS Sedan. No more aggressive wedge. Expect an ATS-V coupe in the future.
LeftLaneNews.com missed the memo about the Vegas trip reveal but offered up live photos instead to confirm the ATS Coupe exists: "Our spy photographers have just sent us the first visual confirmation that Cadillac is moving forward with its long-rumored ATS coupe." Just to reiterate, their spy photographers have just sent them the first visual confirmation that Cadillac is moving forward with its long-rumored ATS coupe. Good for them.
