This photo was taken a year before Dagen H (H Day, or Högertrafikomläggningen, “The right-hand traffic diversion”), when Sweden, along with Iceland, made the switch from driving on the left to driving on the right to bring the countries in line with their European neighbors. Apparently, the switch wasn’t entirely smooth. The photo below was taken on Sunday, September 3, 1967, the day of the Högertrafikomläggningen.
