My wife and her family and some good friends of ours packed up my mother-in-law’s Town & Country van and the Sunbird and went about 45 minutes north to Indiana to camp at my father-in-law’s cabin this Labor Day weekend. It was a great time and the car handled the drive just fine.

Around 100 miles total. Not a single hiccup with the car, thankfully. I actually turned the A/C down once because it was too cold! I’m very thankful the previous owners had the whole system rebuilt and converted to R134a.

And my new tape adapter meant I could listen to Dolly Parton the whole way there and The Judds the whole way home. 56,300 miles on the Pontiac now.
