OK, the GT-Four is in a different game on performance (but isn’t everything). It’s got an extra 40hp, two more driven wheels, and a bucketload more torque, though against that the GT86 is about 100kg lighter.

But dimensionally and proportions-wise they’re remarkably close: the Toyobaru’s about 6" shorter but width, height, and wheelbase are with 1" or so, and there are a lot of shared styling cues.

Guess it’s not just a descendent of the AE86.
