This is the hood of the i3. This is after a significant session with the RO and a level 2 machine polish. All the microscratches and holgroamming are gone, but look at that crap. What can be done? They look really deep, but I can’t catch any one my nail. I thought the RO would take car of it, but alas, no. I was using Griot’s machine polish 2, and also tried the complete compound. I’m guessing I just need to get more aggressive compound, or am I stuck to wetsanding? Where should I start, grit wise, if that’s the case? I’ve fixed a lot of paint, and this one is stumping me.
