Let’s say you want to buy a 2016 CTS-V, but it is a bigger car then you are used to. So after buying it you take it around and park at your favorite shop dinner place, but not used to the size you whack the front splitter. Wanna replace that?
Saw a dark emerald metallic current gen CTS today for the first time. It is GORGEOUS. It stays parked under a tree in the office complex adjacent to mine and I always thought it was black at a glance, but today it was in a sunny spot and it looked incredible.
Y’all like these, right?
Step one, disable traction control. Step two, depress the throttle, feather, counter-steer. Repeat.
I made a quick post a while back in regards to the Vsport CTS I was able to take home for some 28 hours. I never followed it up, mostly because everyone has already praised for everything... and dislikes the CUE system. This is basically general knowledge at this point. What I haven’t read about is how this car turns…
Last week I took home for the night a ‘16 Camaro V6, which I enjoyed. I think its a fun, goes fast, do whatever with car. But this weekend, the stars aligned. Employee rates are dirt cheap, and our first CTS-V pulled onto the lot.
I wanted to wait till I got everything sorted out and got my car back before posting the full story about this. Basically I attended a SoCal V club car control clinic event with my Wagon on December 2015 at the Willow Springs Balcony. It was pretty neat for Cadillac to organize such an event so of course I joined in.…
Either way, that color is sexy.
I’ve got a whole lot to share about today’s event at Willow Springs, but I’m too damn tired to do anything other than put this picture up. That’s me riding shotgun in an F-Type Project 7, with former Indy Car driver Alex Barron, and yeah, it was a pretty neat experience.
Yeah you won’t anyway but as some of you may know I used to work for a car dealership. And while talking with one of my friends there who knows I’m looking for a car, they told me that they have a nice CTS on the lot. Knowing that this person is not automotively-inclined, I asked if they knew anything…
Cadillac president Johan de Nysschen called out fans of German performance cars in no uncertain terms
Still mourning the loss of the wagon though. Very badass looking front end compared to the non-V car.
looks like I stumbled upon a commercial shoot on Crosby and Price during my morning commute. Sexy ass car. Didn't have time to wait and listen for the startup though.
We live in a world where a midsize four door luxury car with only 11 horsepowers less than an Enzo sounds "completely reasonable." So reasonable, in fact, that this rumored car would be nearly 70 HP down on a rental car with an engine swap.
Goodbye to the CTS-V, especially the wagon. I only saw you once and I fell in love. Maybe...maybe... we will be reunited on a used car lot.
The guy two spots down from me in my new building is cool in my book.
