After a change of plans and minutes of thought, Team Oppo decided to enter the iRacing Daytona 500.
Team Oppo took to the track again this week. This time for a little shootout at Daytona. This was part of the Official A Fixed Setup Series that I have been running for the past 12 weeks. I found this scheme hiding in my paint files and decided to bring it out for Team Oppo.
Good interview. Trigger warning: Banana and mayo also comes up.
Since the real race is over I thought I would share how my iRacing Daytona 500 went on Friday.
[UPDATED] This happened last night when I picked up a notepad and a pen with the purpose of drawing.
I remember the days when CART was the sh*t. You can tell it being the case, because it was a time when even the UK and Germany were building their own speedways to accomodate American open-wheel racing. Many NASCAR fans are incapable of reading the ticker at the bottom of the screen, and are live-tweeting the race out in excitement. Here are some of those dumbasses, as…
... "Interesting". While Fox keeps trying to fill the time during this rain delay, I continue watching. I'm waiting for something to happen. Oh, there it is.
Full report later.

Last weekend, Danica Patrick made NASCAR history by becoming the first woman to secure the pole position for the Daytona 500. Today, she did it again at the race itself.
In a spectacular performance that some mysognists have partiality credited to the rest of her team, Danica Patrick won the pole for the 55th running of the Daytona 500. The achievement was doubly historic, as it was the first time either a woman or a Honda-powered car will start on the front row of the IZOD Cup race.
