Have another hour rule. I love the i3.
When Honda unveiled the EV-STER concept back in 2011 it was hip, unrealistic, and genuinely half-assed. Oh and it didn’t look anything like the car I just showed, because that’s what Honda decided to design instead, a 400+ HP 2.0L Turbo mid-engined sports car... And I think that’s stupid, here’s why.
Finally built a server today.
Quick pics with a real camera after a thunderstorm and a conference call.
Even more enamored.
Excuse the potato pics. Big storm this afternoon, and this literally just happened. Can’t wait to start modding. I’m pretty excited about this.
I thought I’d do a series covering less common engine configurations in the US car market, and their availability today (this means no I4s, no V6s, no V8s, and I’m not even sure about I6s). So, let’s start with the 2-cylinder - it’s the lowest cylinder count that can be found in a US car today.
The best selling car in Norway in November was
It’s been a little over two months since I traded in my 2005 Audi S4 for a 2015 BMW i3 REx. The jump was a big one - eight cylinders to none (technically two, for you astute Oppos). I can honestly say that I haven’t looked back since driving away in my weird little electric BMW. Here are my major take-aways so far.
In preparation for the Force Awakens, I am rewatching all Star Wars episodes. I just realized that I drive around in Jango Fett’s helmet.
There have been numerous reports across the internet lately that the 2016 BMW i3 will receive a significant bump in range - from about 82 miles to 124 miles - all while using the same capacity 22kWh battery. To those in the know, this claim comes off as utterly ridiculous.
We just installed a titanium turbo back exhaust on our Project i8 and it is now one loud Hybrid!
The BMW i5 is currently under development and, apparently, has been in planning stages a while.
The unrestrained, gleeful, laughter of an 8 year old sends a clear message. Something very good was happening. I heard it twice today. Both times were while I was launching a Tesla Model S P85D in "Insane Mode". 650+ pound-feet of torque makes young boys and 40 year old men laugh uncontrollably. My son, strapped…
I realize it looks goofy, but for $129/month for 24 months and 0 down after government incentives, it almost feels like it would be stupid not to. We pay more than that for cell service each month. Plus carbon fiber chassis and suicide doors. http://www.bmwroswell.com/bmw-lease-bmw-…
BMW has developed a fully autonomous valet system that will park your car, and it's completely controlled by a smartwatch and your voice.
Apparently the first i3 sold in the US was bought by a couple of Boston hipsters. Cool!
I think BMW hit their styling zenith with the E39, with the E38 and E34 tying for a close second. For classics, which I consider worth of independent consideration, it's hard to beat the E9. The BMW i3 is the future, though, so it's #1 on the list. It's such a nice little quirky and unique car that I have fallen in…
Lots of cars & lots of vinyl.
