My little friends and I visited Big Bovine of the Desert.
Alrightly, I have a friend who wants to run the Great Lakes Mistake Lemons rally this July. He’s looking for something odd, no rust, and preferably manual to buy for $2000 or less to enter the rally. Anyone in the Great Lakes region know of any Lancias, Peugeot 505s, or other automotive oddballs that could meet the…
Just visited the Cat Scale with the Rally Hearse. Take your best guess what we weighed in at. Weight includes the following:
Let Stef take the wheel of the Rally Hearse for the final highway blast to the finish line (after doing all the fun roads myself). Sitting 10th as of this morning, but we expect to get some bonus points from rescuing a stuck van yesterday. I currently have a lap full of Puffalumps. Car is loud. AMA.
Overly dramatic edition
And here is our vehicle of domination. Straight piped hearse.
Time for another Stef & Dusty Lemons road trip. As usual, one of us is deathly ill, and will probably infect the other. RIP us. If you’re in/near Moscow, PA, Virginia Beach, Cornelius, NC, Nashville, or Leeds, AL keep your eyes out for a bunch of weird-ass cars, those are the overnight stop cities.
The car had a hole in the muffler, so I fixed it... with straight pipes. Give it a listen and have another guess at what we’re bringing
After borrowing cars for the first two Lemons Rallies this year we’ve been “given” a car, under the condition that I sell it after the rally and split the money with the previous owner (anyone know how to split a penny?). Any guesses what it’ll be? Here’s a few super vague hints to start you off:
The 24 Hours of LeMons “Retreat from Moscow Rally,” to the outside observer, would appear to be a pleasant, albeit cold, road trip. To the average car guy or girl it would appear to be a way to test your and your machine’s mettle, no pun intended. I can tell you after doing the event, it’s much more than that.
“Is that a stock car?” the Tim Hortons server asked, which seemed a perfectly reasonable thing to say when a race car comes to a drive-thru in Kentucky. The little rally 944 wasn’t, but it was thoroughly awesome to make his day, regardless.
Vive la puff-sistance.
I’ll start off by apologizing for the delayed update. I’ve just been so beat that my free time has been prioritized for other things.
