Got my new tires on this weekend:
While the wife was sick. Stayed home with the kids yesterday to get them off to school. Once they were gone I went out to work on the van some more.
So the car developed a decent oil leak last week. I figured it was just a front crank seal, so I picked up the parts and set into it on Saturday.
Jet black with a little silver flake. I absolutely love how they turned out. Here’s hoping the tire guy doesn’t F$#% them up!
Got a little further on body work:
Getting new tires next week, so I figured I better get my wheels off and get them refinished. I picked up a can of this:
Started filling last night:
Did a little something last night:
IMO when driving a vehicle, it is important to have as much information as possible. That of course left me disappointed with the car’s factory gauge cluster:
Finally got motivation and a break in weather to tear into the van last night. I figured I was just going to start tearing until I found the leak, as I suspected bad intake gasket was making it seem like the HGs were seeping.
So as I’ve gotten older, I thought I grew out of loud vehicles. Then a couple weeks ago the muffler of the van gave up it’s internals, clogging the exhaust, and forcing me to make a choice.
With that headline out of the way, I got to drive and review another Challenger, only this time with a V8 under the hood. And it came equipped with the package that for me would be a must have. The Shaker!
But you need to make a Home Depot run:
Should be here tomorrow, now I just need the weather to hold so I can get them changed.
Dropping the old girl off at the shop for exhaust work tonight.
After much thinking, I think I’ve decided to sell the truck as planned. Then I will use the money from the truck to square away the exhaust on the car, get the van fixed back up, and stick the rest away.
