From taillight to taillight. It was a pain masking the lights but so worth it.
I had three hours before work. Glossy black for parts of cars sucks for fingerprints and swirls. I solved that problem this afternoon. I needed something to do to pass the time, and this was the result.
I’ve owned this blasphemous dream of a pony that nets me 380hp/400tq and 27MPG on the highway. Still no regrets of not getting the GT. I ordered my dream mustang for my 21st birthday and still love it like day one!
Director David Gelb Jiro Dreams of Sushi tackles another venerable, beloved, and long-standing institution: the Mustang, crown jewel of the Ford fleet. As the fiftieth anniversary of the Mustang approaches and the US car industry is just emerging from the ravages of the Great Recession, Ford launches what is only its…
Stylish, and practical!!(Quarter Windows)
Lemme tell ya, I LOVE finding cancer bubbling on newer cars. Not really, but here’s what I found when I popped open the trunk on my Mustang this weekend.
I brought her home this morning! Her name is Agatha (after my favorite mystery novelist) and she’s not even a year old. Such an interesting creature.
Buffer image. This is what happens when you don’t hit pedestrians or curbs and your car still demands some form of sacrifice.
So last week I was helping my friend do a photo shoot with this ‘66 GT350 and I thought “this idle would be nice to listen to”. So I took 15 seconds of the idle on my phone and made an hour loop of it because why not? :p
Brand new cylinder head, drives as normal so far, no unusually high cylinder temps either, and I’m still driving with summer tires and it’s below 30F. Swapping winter set on tomorrow. I’m incredibly happy right now.
Mustang has been at “le dealership” for over a week now. While they’ve found that the coolant is leaking into cylinder #2 causing the misfires, they haven’t taken the engine apart to find out what is causing the leak (HEAD GASKET!!! :p) and whether or not warranty will cover it.
This is the video of our local S550 club’s dyno day this weekend. Of course my car is there, along with many GTs, superchargers, and E85.
Amber fog light tints! I reckon they’re 2.5hp a light for 5hp to give me a total of 375hp! That’s 5.7 HEMI power! :p
I love my dealership! Both bubbling spots are taken care of entirely and I can’t even find or feel them without a picture for reference. Outstanding work, and happy to be driving again after a week!
Saw this gorgeous 1968 Mustang convertible the other day and asked the driver if I could snap some photos. He kindly said yes. The last embers of sunset made even gas station photos look amazing, IMO.
So here’s what’s happening with both cars. One I hope will be covered by warranty, the other will cost me some monies. Ford hasn’t fixed the aluminum hood bubbling problem on Mustangs since 2005, and mine now has it and it’s 10 days short of a year old.
The awesomeness of my decal work! They’re a glossy burnt orange. Not bad for a first try and it was rather easy, with a little bit of cheating.
One of these is more “SVO” than the other, regardless of rocker panel badging.
But never have I driven it into work. Neat!
