They look much bigger despite being the exact same size and offset, though the tires are a touch wider. Ended up needing new lugnuts sadly but they were easy to find at least. Also replaced the sway bar end links while it was in the air, so no more low speed clunking.
The wheels on my 2006 Rav 4 are so pitted that even after copious grinding of the lip I can’t get them all to seal. I finally gave up and ordered a new set of aluminium wheels:
except me I guess. I mean I don’t plan to buy one but im very interested to see what Toyota does with it. There are some things I see here that I like
Coming soon to a Craigslist near me: one cosmetically challenged but mechanically sound Subaru Forester.
Seven seat Rav4, and they’re really hard to find. Stupid car websites don’t put a third row option for the Rav4.
Red and green. Yes, I already have a ton of pollen on my car. I love the color combo of the red one.
First of all: pretty amazing I just took the perfect photo to illustrate this point. Okay moving on: today I learned that the facelifted Rav4 (red one) has an incredibly unsightly zit on its ass.
The favorite of people who want a Corolla but also like sitting up higher in the air, the virtually-unchanged since its 2013 redesign Toyota RAV4. The color on this one is called Black Currant Metallic and it’s a multilayered paint with gold-colored flakes. This one got the beige interior.
I saw this in the parking lot at work this morning. I’ve seen this car multiple times this month, so I’m assuming the driver’s been doing for the entire month of October. I finally decided to capture a picture of it. Someone has been driving around Wichita, KS with a pirate skeleton in the passenger seat. The parrot…
In case of Kinja, 5759 RAV4 Hybrids sold in the past month, a 34.2% increase over last year, while 5722 Prii (the regular one, not the v, c, or Prime plug-in) sold, a 43.8% decrease from last year.
Glad I had coffee this morning. This is my “Listening to Heavy Metal at a Stop Light,” face
The 2018 Toyota RAV4 with the Adventure trim has a raised ride height! How RUGGED! Any guesses on what the height will be? My guess is going to be 6.66 inches of suburban parking lot jumping median power! Since Toyota is not commenting on the specifications as of yet I am imagining the Adventure trim is gaining ride…
Last week, Toyota detailed their next-generation powertrains for vehicles on their new architecture. In addition to several new transmissions, they announced a new modular engine family supporting varying cylinder displacements (much like Mazda’s SkyActiv-G family) and cylinder count, and detailed the first variant of…
Right now, we’re in a golden age of accessible high performance motoring. Hot hatches are everywhere, regular sedans from compact to full-size are available in hot versions, and there’s several affordable performance coupes of very different flavors.
No, not the 911.
Driving to pickup some groceries this afternoon I spotted something I haven’t seen in a while. An original generation Rav4. I started thinking how I would totally own one because they have now gotten “cool” in my mind.
It would be fun, if I had the time, to write Oppo reviews for all of them...I did one for the M3 and someday I’ll do one for the SQ5. But if anyone has questions about these models, I’ve got answers.
The front head rests in the current generation Rav4 are fucking terrible. I swear, I must have concussed myself when I leaned back to rest my head on the drivers side head rest. This is exactly the opposite of what it is supposed to do.
