Time to start filling up the input drum with parts.
Now that the rear planetary carrier is installed, we can start building up the core of the transmission. Let’s start stacking clutches!

This is what the transmission looked like before being taken apart. Not too bad up top, but you can see a gradual buildup of grime on the lower half.
Time to get that valve body apart. Are you ready?
The front pump doesn’t have many parts to it. This’ll be a short post. Consider this a calm before the storm, when we get into the valve body.
