A Corolla-Tercel SR5 hatchback!... Alive! And LOUVERS!!!
Much like the thickness of my hair, the sun has set on my Tercel stage of my life.
Cool to be sitting on a car whose taillight is worth more than the entire car not running.
I said I would. And sometime before it eventually broke down on me, I did.
My wife has been a patient lady, but she wants the Tercel gone. And at this point, so do I. One way or another, it’s going away this week.
Well I found one, and it sure is interesting. It only has 460,000 miles and the owner seems to have taken very good care of it. Yours for $1400.
I found your next ride.
Confirmed starter is turning engine, but getting no spark. Might be the coil, might be distributor, might be who knows what. I found a spare distributor I picked up many moons ago. Not sure when I’ll get around to it, but I’m gonna plug and pray.
Zoidberg, let us know what happens to it.
I didn’t replace the alternator nor the starter. My assumption will just be that it is dead. It broke down on I-5 and now won’t start.
On my way to buy a new car. This has not been a good day.
Spotted at my local junkyard while I was looking for parts for my Corolla. They didn’t have a single model of my 2005 Corolla so my parts search continues.
And in some distant land there is a crab that knows a lot about these strange cars.
Tercel coupe Whitehawk!
The shoebox has moved for the first time in two months. I haven’t accomplished diddly squat, and I’m so far behind schedule it’s not even funny.
This is weird request, but does anyone know if there are any toys/models/etc. of the final-gen Tercel? Ideally the BlackHawk trim but I’m getting the feeling that quite possibly there are none at all so beggars definitely can’t be choosers.
This one is... amazingly clean. Stupid low miles.
